Feeling ready for this baby’s arrival! House is all set up with the baby basics and I’m sure it’ll grow messier by the day. I feel really good about having at least a starting place for what we know we’ll need, as well as a few overflow areas and empty baskets for the stuff that we have no clue about yet!
So here goes - a tour of our baby ready tiny home! So excited to have this little kiddo among all this stuff ❤️.

We have a little area for baby's clothes, diaper supplies, books, and a few toys! There's overflow for diaper supplies that's stored under the couch and we'll refill the drawer as needed (which means daily lol). The top drawer is diapering supplies, the middle drawer is clothing, and the bottom drawer is next size up clothing.
Possibly my favorite area - our little Charlie Crane rocker with a custom mobile hanging over it! My sister made this amazing mobile for us with the four dragons from the triwizard tournament and dragon eggs. Baby has zero choice in its love for Harry Potter 😂.
We have a little nursing station in the kitchen for bags and supplies. We're planning to use the Kiinde system which actually helps on storage as the bags store much more easily than bottles! Fingers crossed that works out for us 🤞🏻. We also have a shelf in the bathroom dedicated to Baby with little bath baskets and medicine baskets! I love the bathtub mounted on the wall - this was a gift from my bestie Jill and is perfect because it's out of the way and barely noticeable until you need it (which is KEY for tiny house living feeling do-able).
There's so much about this little nook that I love - my Grandpa DeHaas made this cradle for me to use on my future children about 15 years ago when he was still healthy and fit enough to do so. He had a few issues come up that progressed rapidly and he passed away almost exactly 3 years ago. I always thought he’d meet my children, but am so happy to be using this cradle so Baby M has a little bit of the love their Great Grandpa had for them around them each night!
Check out this amazing artwork - one of my talented and creative friends did these custom Nursery prints for us – Look closely and you’ll see a nerdy detail. I’m all about letting my inner nerd shine through in subtle ways! (Or not so subtle ways…. Says the girl who hosts an annual Harry Potter party 😜). They look so amazing – link to her shop here!

I got this little letter board last summer and Felipe and my father in law painstakingly cut out every letter and symbol for me :p. We also have the sweetest baby book and a little lamb, as well as a bear piggy bank from Felipe's Grandma ❤️. Now how often do you think this letter board will actually get updated... Lol
We wanted to have a little area where we could rock baby to sleep and read to it at night to create a sort of bedtime routine. There wasn't much space to make this happen, but we figured it out and I love our little nook! We have a few books right by the rocker and will switch them out every so often from the larger shelf. Plus a little lovey and some fun interactive books for when baby gets a little bigger ❤️.

So there you have it - our little "nursery" ❤️. Can't wait to try this out with actual baby in tow!
